Transformer Rectifier
Transformer rectifier is a DC current device which supplies current that is applied for cathodic protection of buried or immersed metal structures. The TR is normally used when AC power from the mains is available. All transformer rectifiers can be used in indoor and outdoor locations and are capable of supplying continuous full rated output at an ambient temperature -25~+55℃ Celsius degrees. The transformer rectifiers are built for years of rugged service.

I、TR is operated at single phase, voltage 220 Volt AC, ±10% tolerance. It can be continuously rated with oil cooling system and be able to operate at rated power as a both constant voltage and constant current DC source
II、TR can be plinth mounted and designed with sunshade for a outdoor use in humid and aggressive environment. The relative humidity is 32% in the winter (5℃),the maximum ambient temperature is 55℃
III、The TR contained and comprises of two enclosures i.e. an oil tank and a control centre c/w terminals.
IV、The TR comply to British Standard as minimum and IEC recommendation
V、All major components of TR are designed to provide service for 25 years of continuous operation or coinciding with the project.
Main Test requirements:
I、The TR pass the production test and type performance tests
II、The voltage regulation at unity power factor not exceed 10%
III、The conversion efficiency at rated output is more 80% and the power factor at rated output is more than 0.8 neglecting harmonic components.
IV、The ripple in the output voltage and current measured to less than 5% between 5% and 100% of the rated current output
V、All transformer insulation is rated for minimum of 130℃.Actual hottest spot temperature rise must not exceed 100℃ at rated conditions
